Venezuela earthquake death toll rises to 4,490, over 17,000 displaced
The President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, announced via Telegram that the death toll from the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 4,490.
Rodríguez clarified that the official number of injured remains unchanged at 16,740, while a total of 6,462 people have been rescued.
Official data revealed that 17,907 people have been displaced due to the two earthquake disasters, a highly critical humanitarian situation facing Venezuela in the aftermath of this tragic event.
