The US military announced that its forces have begun launching more strikes on Iran, to continue undermining its ability to attack civilian sailors and commercial ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian sources reported that explosions were heard in several areas, including west of Bandar Abbas.

The US military had launched strikes yesterday (Sunday) on Iranian missile and air defense systems near the Strait of Hormuz.

A US official confirmed that US forces also targeted small boats belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps at two locations around the Strait of Hormuz.
