The General Directorate of Traffic announced the launch of an electronic auction for license plates, starting on Wednesday, 1 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to July 15, 2026, via the Absher electronic platform.

The directorate indicated that the auction will continue until Thursday, 2 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to July 16, 2026, and allows interested parties the opportunity to purchase distinctive plates electronically without needing to visit traffic offices.

Steps to participate in the auction

In the same context, interested participants can log in to the Absher platform, select "Services" from the "My Services" tab, then choose "Traffic," and finally the "Electronic License Plate Auction" service.
