Royal orders were issued today in Saudi Arabia stipulating a number of appointments and dismissals in senior state positions, covering industry, regions, and judiciary, as part of enhancing performance efficiency in government agencies.
The royal orders included relieving Bandar Al-Khuraif from his post as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and appointing Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, in addition to his continued duties as Minister of Energy.
A royal order was also issued appointing Bandar Al-Khuraif as Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, along with tasking him with the duties of Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries in addition to his work, following the dismissal of Ahmed Al-Ohali from his post as Governor of the Authority.
In the Public Prosecution, the royal orders included relieving Shalaan bin Rajih bin Shalaan from his post as Deputy Public Prosecutor, and appointing him as an advisor to the Royal Court at the distinguished rank.
Within the framework of administrative appointments, a royal order was issued appointing Ihsan Baqafiyah as Mayor of Jeddah Governorate at the distinguished rank.
The royal orders also included appointing Muhammad Al-Mutlaq as Deputy Minister of Justice at the distinguished rank.
The royal orders reflect support for government work, enhancing leadership efficiency, and raising the level of performance in various government agencies in line with the development goals of the Kingdom.
