Royal Orders: New Exemptions and Appointments Including Ministerial Portfolios and Senior Positions
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a number of royal orders including new exemptions and appointments. The orders included the appointment of Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in addition to his continued role as Minister of Energy. Bandar Al-Kharif, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, was relieved of his current post and appointed as a Minister of State and a member of the Council of Ministers. King Salman bin Abdulaziz announced the appointment of Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Mutlaq as Deputy Minister of Justice with the rank of excellent. In the same context, the royal orders issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz included the exemption of Engineer Ahmed Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, from his post, and the assignment of Bandar Al-Kharif, Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, to also serve as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries in addition to his current work. The royal orders issued on Saturday also included the exemption of Shalaan bin Shalaan, Deputy Public Prosecutor, from his post and his appointment as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of excellent. Likewise, King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered the appointment of Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza Bafaqih as Mayor of Jeddah Governorate with the rank of excellent. In a related context, Abdul Ilah Al-Dahaim was appointed as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Executive Affairs with the rank of excellent. The royal orders also included the appointment of Talal Al-Hamoud as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs with the rank of excellent.
