America continued its military strikes against targets inside Iran early Wednesday, for the 11th consecutive night, aiming to further undermine its ability to threaten commercial navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
It stated that operations targeted military operations centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage warehouses, and military logistics infrastructure facilities, stressing the continuation of its operations to protect freedom of navigation and deter threats.
Explosions in several areas
Coinciding with the announcement of a new wave of strikes, Iranian media reported hearing explosions in several areas, with the scope of attacks expanding in recent hours. Fars News Agency reported that the city of Mahshahr was bombed, and that US raids targeted the port, while Iranian television announced bombings that hit the cities of Behbahan and Omidiyeh east of Ahvaz.
An explosion was also heard in Bushehr, while assessments indicated that strikes targeted two sites in the city and extended to the southeast of the country, where media reported explosions in the ports of Chabahar and Konarak. Reports also said that the Parchin nuclear site southeast of Tehran was targeted, without an official announcement from Iranian authorities on the extent of damage or the nature of the targeted facility.

Continued escalation
The new strikes come a day after US President Donald Trump announced that military operations against Iran would escalate, affirming that Washington is not currently interested in holding talks with Tehran unless it shows readiness to negotiate "seriously".
He also indicated that they might soon target the area around Mount Ax, which houses one of Iran's fortified nuclear sites, which Tehran considered a dangerous escalation, warning that any attack on its nuclear facilities or sensitive sites would expand the scope of the war and target the interests of Washington and its allies.
