Insurance consultant Luay Abdu said that the service provider is a major part of insurance problems.

Abdu added, in an intervention on the airwaves of 'Al Arabiya FM', that setting a specific ceiling for the medically insured person in each visit to an insurance institution is a wrong practice because the patient is supposed to get what he wants in one visit.

He continued that health insurance in the Kingdom is based on cooperation, correct pricing, management efficiency, and investment returns, and there are more than 25 insurance companies, allowing the client to leave any company that follows a wrong strategy.

The insurance consultant continued that a large part of the delay comes from hospitals due to procedural operations related to incorrect coding and incomplete documents, meaning it is a system between more than one party that requires everyone's cooperation to improve results.
