Riyadh Air Boosts Its Fleet with Six Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft

Riyadh Air yesterday exercised purchase rights for six additional Airbus A350-1000 aircraft during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, raising its total confirmed orders for this model to 31 aircraft.
The carrier ordered 60 Airbus A321 aircraft, bringing the total aircraft ordered from Airbus to 91, while retaining purchase rights for 19 additional aircraft, providing greater flexibility to support its future expansion plans.
The Airbus A350-1000 will form a key pillar in Riyadh Air's long-haul operations, enabling the carrier to connect Riyadh with major destinations in Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America and beyond.
