Meat and chicken prices rise in Saudi Arabia during June 2026
Meat prices in Saudi Arabia rose last June on a monthly basis, while chicken prices increased, and fish prices rose except for kan’ad.
The average commodity and service prices bulletin issued by the General Authority for Statistics showed that the price of fresh beef rose by 1% to 55.1 riyals per kilogram.
Meat prices
The price of fresh lamb rose by 1.3% to 69.5 riyals per kilogram, while the price of imported chilled lamb rose by 2% to 58.3 riyals per kilogram.

According to the bulletin, the price of fresh camel meat rose in June on a monthly basis by 2.1% to 56.1 riyals per kilogram.
Chicken prices
The price of fresh local chicken rose by 0.3% to 17.6 riyals for 900 grams, while the price of frozen local chicken remained stable at 18.9 riyals.
According to the bulletin, the price of fresh chicken thighs rose by 0.2% on a monthly basis in June to 9.8 riyals, while the price of chicken breast fillet rose by 0.1% to 20.9 riyals.
Fish prices
The price of fresh peeled hamour and shrimp rose by 5.3% and 5.5% to 60.98 riyals and 84 riyals, respectively, in June on a monthly basis.
The price of kan’ad fish decreased by 0.4% on a monthly basis in June, reaching 72.2 riyals per kilogram.
