The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) announced an increase in free storage periods for transit goods at Jeddah Islamic Port, effective from July 19, 2026, for a period of 60 days.

The authority clarified that the decision includes containers, general cargo, Ro-Ro and cars, aiming to support business empowerment and enhance operational efficiency at the port.

Details of the new free storage periods

Transit containers: 15 days free storage period

Transit general cargo: 5 days free storage period

Transit Ro-Ro and cars: 5 days free storage period
