ALMA, one of the coastal destinations in Jeddah, has signed two agreements to establish operational frameworks for the management, operation, and enhancement of environmental sustainability solutions for the multi-use destination spanning 3.125 million square meters.

The agreement signed with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, represented by the Jeddah Municipality, aims to establish a sustainable framework for the management, operation, and maintenance of public facilities, open spaces, parks, and shared amenities in ALMA, including cleaning, road maintenance, landscaping, afforestation, and infrastructure works.

The other agreement, signed with the National Water Company, aims to implement and operate water treatment plants across ALMA, contributing to enhancing environmental sustainability and improving service reliability.

Both agreements support sustainable urban development and enhance infrastructure quality, while also increasing the investment value of the project and contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

They also establish a more organized foundation for ALMA's model based on land development with the participation of multiple developers, by defining mechanisms for municipal coordination, destination management, public infrastructure maintenance, and integration of water services, in parallel with the progress of urban development within the master plan.

ALMA, located in north Abhur in Jeddah, is one of the city's most prominent multi-use marine destinations. Spanning 3.125 million square meters, it comprises 7 integrated neighborhoods encompassing residential, hospitality, commercial, and entertainment uses, along with two islands separated by artificial water channels designed like an infinity symbol, connecting the Red Sea to King Salman Bay.

The destination also features 12.5 kilometers of waterfronts, over 5.5 kilometers of walkways, and 16 interconnected parks, within a carefully designed integrated master plan with a thoughtful urban layout that supports modern lifestyles and enhances quality of life.

ALMA offers developers and investors the freedom to develop within an integrated coastal destination with ready infrastructure, adhering to urban standards and requirements, in a strategic location along one of Jeddah's key urban growth corridors, supported by high-quality infrastructure and efficient operation of facilities and services.

The project directly aligns with several goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by providing quality housing options, enhancing private sector participation, attracting local and foreign investments, improving quality of life, supporting sustainable urban development, and contributing to the continued development of Jeddah's waterfront.

ALMA aims to introduce a new concept of modern waterfront living in Jeddah, making the Red Sea and the waterfront a central focus of the experience for both residents and visitors.
