Municipalities and Housing: Issuance and Renewal of Over 274,000 Commercial Licenses in First Half of 2026

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced the issuance and renewal of over 274,000 commercial licenses during the first half of 2026.

The ministry stated in a statement today that the licenses included the issuance of over 97,000 new commercial licenses and the renewal of over 177,000 commercial licenses.

It added that during the same period, it provided over 173,000 services related to commercial licenses, including over 91,000 license modification transactions, over 43,000 transactions for adding commercial activities, in addition to over 39,000 transactions for transferring license ownership.
