The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the unified national platform for recruitment "Musaned", has begun implementing a new system aimed at facilitating procedures for issuing and renewing residency for domestic workers and similar categories, with durations starting from three months, allowing employers to pay residency fees on a quarterly basis.

The concerned authorities confirmed that this decision gives employers the ability to pay only the fees for the selected period when issuing or renewing residency for three months or multiples thereof, noting that this provides greater flexibility in managing their financial obligations and meets the needs of various beneficiaries efficiently.

This ongoing trend in developing residency-related services reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing the efficiency of procedures and the quality of services provided, and offers more flexible solutions that suit the requirements of employers and domestic workers, within the framework of the comprehensive digital transformation journey and improving the beneficiary experience.
