Bahri launches logistics deposit area at Jeddah Port with capacity of 80,000 pallets

The Saudi National Shipping Company – Bahri announced the launch on Thursday of the Bahri logistics deposit area at Jeddah Islamic Port, in the presence of Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser. According to the company's statement on X platform, the logistics area spans 95,000 square meters, with a storage capacity of 80,000 pallets and an annual handling capacity of one million pallets, in addition to 34 loading and unloading docks. It noted that the station operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The company added that the station aims to enhance the Kingdom's position as a global logistics hub by investing in advanced infrastructure and innovative solutions that contribute to building a promising and sustainable economic future. According to Argaam data, the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) signed in February 2022 a land lease contract for 20 years in favor of Bahri to establish an integrated logistics area at Jeddah Islamic Port, with a total area of 95,440 square meters.
