Dar Al Markabah announces resignation of two audit committee members due to weak governance implementation

Dar Al Markabah for Car Rental announced the resignation of Khalid Muqbil Al-Muqbil and Ahmed Abdulmohsen Al-Saadoun from the audit committee membership, due to weak implementation of governance procedures in the company.

In a statement on Tadawul, the company said that the board of directors will appoint two members to fill the vacancies according to the procedure, so that the committee composition complies with the relevant regulatory requirements regarding the minimum number of audit committee members (3 members).

It added that the resignation will take effect on July 16, 2026, noting that the names of the two appointed members will be announced later in accordance with the relevant regulations and instructions.
