Riyadh, 24 Muharram 1448 H, July 09, 2026, SPA – The Ministry of Commerce issued the Business Sector Bulletin for the second quarter of 2026, providing a comprehensive overview of the performance and developments of the business sector in the Kingdom. The bulletin reviewed the total number of commercial records issued during Q2, exceeding 71,000 commercial records, while the total existing records stood at over 1.91 million commercial records across all regions of the Kingdom. The bulletin addressed the Kingdom's progress in trade-related indicators in the World Competitiveness Yearbook report, advancing to third place globally in the indicator "Legislative Support for Business Establishment," fourth globally in "Equal Economic Opportunities," and seventh globally in "Large Companies are Efficient According to International Standards." The bulletin touched on the attractiveness of the tourism sector and its accelerated growth, along with activities in promising sectors under the Kingdom's Vision 2030, such as e-commerce, cloud computing, sports academies, entertainment and gaming cities, and others. The bulletin included key indicators of business growth, with the number of enterprises rising by 18% over the past five years to reach 1.28 million enterprises, while limited liability company records exceeded 612,000 commercial records, a growth of 173%.
