Al-Kharj, 21 Muharram 1448 AH (July 06, 2026) – SPA – Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif, today visited a number of military factories in Al-Kharj Governorate, including the SAMI Industrial Complex for Land Systems, a subsidiary of SAMI for Land Systems (SAMI LAND), which is part of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund. During his tour of the SAMI Industrial Complex for Land Systems, Minister Al-Khuraif inspected its industrial facilities and production lines, learning about modern technologies in military manufacturing. SAMI is the main arm for localizing defense industries in the Kingdom, operating through several companies covering land systems, air systems, advanced electronics, unmanned systems, and munitions. His Excellency also visited a group of factories of NCMS Company, where he reviewed operational processes and key products. NCMS is one of Saudi Arabia’s leading companies in local defense manufacturing, active in the production of mechanical, electromechanical, optical systems, and shooting systems. The visit is part of the Ministry’s commitment to develop national military manufacturing capabilities and build an integrated national defense industrial base, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to localize 50% of military expenditure and enhance the Kingdom’s national security.
