The Arabic version of the series 'SUITS' is facing a new crisis that has reached the courts, as a men's suit trading company claims it has not received its financial dues, estimated at 2.7 million Egyptian pounds ($150,000), from the show's producer Tarek El-Ganainy.

'Orangesquare,' the suit trading company, intends to file a lawsuit against 'TV Vision for Production' to halt the broadcast of the series until it receives its dues for supplying suits and clothes for all the actors participating in the work.

Statement from the men's suit trading company - Al-Sharq

The complainant company confirmed in a press statement that all legal procedures have been taken against 'TV Vision for Media Production,' represented by Tarek El-Ganainy, producer of 'Suits Arabic,' as his company received all the clothes and suits for the show's stars without paying for them.

The company added that 'criminal proceedings will be taken against Tarek El-Ganainy, in addition to setting the earliest session to consider the lawsuit to halt the broadcast of the series until we obtain all our rights, for using our products without paying for them.'

Financial Compensation

In response, producer Tarek El-Ganainy denied the company's allegations, telling Al-Sharq that 'the matter is currently before the judiciary,' and that he will not accept any final settlement, considering that 'what the company did is defamation against us and cannot be accepted, and I will not back down from my full rights,' demanding financial compensation of 20 million pounds.

The company also denied the validity of these claims in a press statement, considering them 'deliberate defamation, slander, and libel.'

The company said in the statement that 'this company deliberately mixed facts, deceived the public, and exploited the great success achieved by the series,' asserting that it 'owes no one anything, and its reputation built over approximately 20 years testifies to its commitment in financial transactions.'

The series stars Asser Yassin, Ahmed Dawood, Reem Mustafa, Saba Mubarak, Tara Emad, Mohamed Shahin, Asmaa Galal, and Mostafa Darwish. The script and dialogue are by Mohamed Hefzy and Yasser Abdel Maged, and the direction is by Essam Abdel Hamid.
