The Ministry of Commerce announced the availability of issuing sales licenses electronically for commercial establishments for the 'Sales 2026' season, which starts from 18 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to August 1, 2026, until 20 Jumada al-Akhirah 1448 AH, corresponding to October 31, 2026.

Sales on many products

The 'Sales 2026' season extends for three months, and allows commercial establishments the opportunity to offer discounts without losing days from the annual discount balance. It also provides wide options for consumers, enabling them to make purchasing decisions after comparing prices and choosing the most suitable for them.

Obtaining sales licenses

Commercial establishments and online stores can apply for sales licenses electronically via: sales.mc.gov.sa.

The electronic submission of discounts aims to enable establishments and online stores to easily obtain licenses, print them and display them to the consumer. The consumer can verify the legitimacy and validity of the discounts by scanning the barcode shown on the discount license with a mobile camera, which will display all the data related to the discounts, including 'type and percentage of discounts, their duration, in addition to the basic establishment data'.
