General / Emir of Northern Borders Region Lays Foundation Stone for Veterinary Bacterial Vaccine Factory Project

Arar, Muharram 28, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 13, 2026, SPA — His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Northern Borders Region, today laid the foundation stone for the veterinary bacterial vaccine factory project, in the presence of the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Northern Borders Region, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Heterishi. His Highness listened to an explanation about the project, its components and implementation phases, and its role in developing the livestock sector and enhancing biosecurity, thereby contributing to supporting and localizing the livestock vaccine industry and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The Emir of the Northern Borders Region commended the support and attention given to the agricultural and livestock sectors by the wise leadership - may God support them -, stressing the importance of specialized projects that contribute to enhancing sustainability, developing investments, and supporting the food security system in the region. The project is one of the specialized projects aimed at raising the efficiency of veterinary vaccine production, strengthening national capabilities in this field, and supporting services provided to livestock breeders.
