This came during His Highness's session dedicated to reviewing the role of civil associations in the Northern Borders Region, in the presence of a number of officials and heads and members of civil associations in the region. His Highness noted the support and attention that the non-profit sector receives from the wise leadership - may God support them - stressing the importance of enhancing integration between associations, government agencies, and the private sector, and developing qualitative initiatives and programs that meet the needs of society and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The session reviewed the reality of the non-profit sector and its achievements in the region, which includes (142) civil associations, achieving an annual growth rate of (11%), along with the most prominent initiatives, programs, awards, and accreditations achieved by the associations, opportunities for government support, and their efforts in the fields of social services, development and housing, health, education, environment, culture, and entertainment. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Civil Associations in the Northern Borders Region, Manawer bin Samir Al-Shehi, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the associations' efforts in implementing community programs and initiatives, and enhancing coordination and integration among them, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the non-profit sector and expanding its developmental impact. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mathani Association for Memorizing the Holy Quran, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Aba Al-Khail, also delivered a speech in which he reviewed the association's programs and achievements in serving and teaching the Book of God.
