Gold prices fall as dollar and US bond yields rise
Gold prices fell during Monday's trading, as the US dollar and Treasury yields rose, while investors continued to assess the outlook for US monetary policy and its implications for markets.
Spot gold fell 0.2% to $4,007.91 per ounce, while US gold futures for August delivery fell 0.1% to $4,015.90 per ounce.
