The Makkah Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Environment Fund, organized a workshop titled "Loan Guarantees and Stimulating Investment in the Environmental Sector" on Tuesday, 29 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 14, 2026.

The workshop organizers explained that the event comes within the framework of the Makkah Chamber's efforts to enhance the investment environment and enable investors and entrepreneurs to benefit from financial enablers and incentives that contribute to developing environmental investments and supporting sustainability.

Workshop Themes and Objectives

The participants indicated that the workshop reviewed topics related to investment incentives dedicated to the environmental sector, the target groups, and mechanisms for benefiting from them, in addition to introducing the conditions and regulatory criteria for obtaining those incentives.

The workshop also added axes on raising awareness of the financing opportunities available to investors and efforts to attract qualitative investments in the environmental sector.

Enhancing Private Sector Contribution

For its part, the discussion addressed the most prominent initiatives aimed at enhancing the private sector's contribution to environmental projects and supporting the trend towards a sustainable economy in the Kingdom.
