Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Lower at 10,716 Points
The Saudi main stock index closed today down by (3.46) points to reach (10,716.82) points, with trading value of 2.3 billion riyals. The traded shares volume reached 130 million, according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi Stock Exchange. Among them, shares of 65 companies rose, while shares of 190 companies fell. The shares of Madinat Al-Ma'arifa, Enaya, Amaak, Al-Ittihad, and Saleh Al-Rashid were the highest gainers, while the shares of Risn, Simasco, Thimar, Maharah, and Saudi Reinsurance were the biggest decliners. The increase and decrease rates ranged between 9.99% and 3.60%. The shares of Petro Rabigh, Americana, Saudi Aramco, Madinat Al-Ma'arifa, and Maharah were the most active by volume, while shares of Petro Rabigh, Al-Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Al-Bahri, and Red Sea were the most active by value. The parallel market index (Nomu) closed today down by (82.98) points to (22,156.33) points, with trading value of 13 million riyals, and a traded volume exceeding 1.7 million shares.
