New Rafha-Hail Road Supports Logistics Movement Between Regions
With a length of (246) kilometers, the new Rafha-Hail road tangibly contributes to supporting logistics movement and stimulating economic activity between the Northern Borders and Hail regions, in addition to shortening travel times, improving traffic flow, and enhancing mobility efficiency and safety. The road - recently completed - extends from Rafha Governorate in the Northern Borders region to its intersection with the Hail-Baqa'a road, strengthening the connection between the two regions and improving the efficiency of the road network. The General Authority for Roads earlier stated that the project represents an extension of the axis linking Hail region and Medina, reaching Mecca, thereby supporting the service of pilgrims and enhancing connectivity between the Kingdom's regions and neighboring countries. The project is part of the Authority's efforts to develop the road network, improve its efficiency and safety, increase its capacity, and support economic and logistics development.
