Rafha, Safar 04, 1448 AH corresponding to July 18, 2026 SPA With a length of (246) kilometers, the new Rafha-Hail road tangibly contributes to supporting logistics movement and boosting economic activity between the Northern Borders and Hail regions, in addition to shortening travel times, improving traffic flow, and raising mobility efficiency and safety. The road - recently completed - extends from Rafha Governorate in the Northern Borders region to its junction with the Hail - Baq'a road, enhancing connectivity between the two regions and raising the efficiency of the road network. The General Authority for Roads previously stated that the project represents an extension of the axis linking Hail and Medina to Mecca, supporting services for pilgrims and strengthening linkages between the Kingdom's regions and neighboring countries.
