Producer price index in the Kingdom rose 7.5% during May

Saudi Arabia's Producer Price Index (PPI) rose by 7.5% in May 2026 compared to May 2025.
According to data from the General Authority for Statistics, this increase is attributed to a rise in manufacturing prices, a 2% increase in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply prices, and an 8.3% increase in water supply, sewerage, and waste management activities.
