Saudi Arabian Airlines has confirmed the inaccuracy of claims circulating in the media and on social media platforms regarding the delivery of Boeing 777-200 aircraft previously owned by the airline to a sanctioned entity.
In a statement, the company clarified that it had already sold the aircraft in question on June 7, 2023, to another company registered outside the Kingdom, in accordance with the commercial and legal frameworks followed in such cases.
The airline added that all its operational and commercial ties to the aircraft in question ended on the date of the completed sale.
