Saudi government technology company "Lahent" is set to launch more than 40 automated government services in the coming period, and expand into the Gulf region starting with Qatar and Oman, according to what CEO Mohammed Ibrahim told Al-Eqtisadiah.
The company, founded in October 2023, works on automating public and government services, and aims to connect government agencies with the business sector through smart platforms that facilitate procedures and reduce operational costs.

The first axis is executive partnerships with leading national platforms for technical connectivity and executive integration, which contributed to building the unified executive infrastructure developed by "Lahent" to serve business sectors and government agencies.
The CEO added that the second axis is commercial partnerships with a number of major national companies, which have reached advanced stages of understanding and are expected to be completed in the coming months, aimed at expanding services to the business sector and improving the efficiency of implementing government procedures.
40 New Services with Artificial Intelligence and Voice Interaction
Ibrahim explained "Lahent"'s plan to launch more than 40 new automated government services in the coming period, specifically targeting the business sector, relying on artificial intelligence, voice interaction, and smart lists.
He explained that these services come as a completion of the first phase recently launched by the company, aiming to simplify procedures and reduce the time taken to execute government transactions, thus improving user experience and increasing productivity.

Regarding external expansion, Ibrahim confirmed that "Lahent" completed a strategic partnership with Qatar Foundation at the beginning of this year, which he described as the starting point for the company's strategy of regional expansion.
He said: "We are currently focusing on building effective and sustainable partnerships in Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, in preparation for gradual expansion into the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, based on our belief in the importance of unifying the digital government services experience across the region."
