Saudi govtech company "Lahnut" is set to launch more than 40 automated government services in the coming period and expand into the Gulf region starting from Qatar and Oman, according to what CEO Mohammed Ibrahim told Al-Eqtisadiah.

Founded in October 2023, the company specializes in automating public and government services, aiming to connect government entities with the business sector through smart platforms that facilitate procedures and reduce operational costs.

Ibrahim said new strategic partnerships are estimated at 3 million riyals, noting that the company's strategy in the past period focused on two main axes.

The first is executive partnerships with major national platforms for technical integration and executive coordination, which contributed to building the unified executive infrastructure developed by Lahnut to serve business sectors and government entities.

The CEO added that the second axis involved commercial partnerships with several major national companies, which have reached advanced stages of understanding and are expected to be finalized in the coming months, aiming to expand services to the business sector and improve efficiency of government procedures.

40 New Services with AI and Voice Interaction

Ibrahim outlined Lahnut's plan to launch more than 40 new automated government services in the next phase, specifically targeting the business sector and relying on artificial intelligence, voice interaction, and smart menus.

He explained that these services complement the first phase recently launched by the company, aiming to simplify procedures and reduce time spent on government transactions, thereby improving user experience and boosting productivity.

He also indicated that the company is currently developing and implementing a number of advanced technical solutions for various government entities, as part of Lahnut's vision to expand the applications of govtech and artificial intelligence in the public sector.

On external expansion, Ibrahim confirmed that Lahnut completed a strategic partnership with Qatar Foundation at the beginning of this year, describing it as the starting point for the company's regional expansion strategy.

He said: "We are currently focusing on building effective and sustainable partnerships in Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, in preparation for gradual expansion into the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, based on our belief in the importance of unifying the digital government services experience across the region."
