Financial advisor Khalid Al-Zaidi said that the major defect suffered by listed companies in the agricultural sector lies in the management of the companies, not the agricultural sector itself.

He added during an intervention with Al-Akhbariya channel that 7 out of 9 companies suffer from losses or weak financial performance, having achieved less than half a billion over the past 12 months.

Al-Zaidi pointed out that only Nadec and Al Jouf Agricultural Development Company recorded profits and enjoy a strong financial position, with the revenues of the two companies being 15 times higher than the revenues of the other seven companies.
