Improvement of companies

I indicated in the previous analysis the state of resilience shown by the market despite the declines, due to the continued improvement of companies rising from previous sessions, and the continued positive breadth of the market enhances the chances of further rise towards levels near 10,850 points.

Clear improvement in market breadth

The index's rise was accompanied by a noticeable improvement in market breadth, as 160 companies rose, compared to only 95 rising in the previous session, indicating the recovery moving from a limited number of leading stocks to a broader segment of the market. Indicators of 13 sectors rose, compared to 8 sectors declining.

Despite the improvement in prices and market breadth, trading value fell 12% to 3.9 billion riyals, and trading value was about 5% lower than its average over the last 21 days, which stood at about 4 billion riyals.
