Webook Becomes Official Ticketing Partner for 2026 Esports World Cup
The Esports World Cup Foundation has appointed the webook.com platform as the official ticketing partner for the 2026 Esports World Cup, in a step that marks the platform's first official presence in the French market, coinciding with the tournament's first expansion outside the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The tournament's events and competitions kicked off in Paris on July 6 and will conclude on August 23, with the participation of more than 2,000 players representing 200 clubs from over 100 countries, competing in 25 tournaments featuring 24 esports titles. Tickets will be available through the webook platform for fans in more than 180 countries, including France, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
The tournament is hosted at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles over 7 weeks, featuring esports competitions, fan events, and entertainment activities tailored for the gaming community.
This collaboration marks the first time webook has obtained the status of official ticketing partner for the tournament, after handling ticket sales since the first edition, indicating a deepening partnership as the event expands globally.
The foundation confirmed that the partnership brings together two entities that originated in Saudi Arabia and are moving toward global markets. webook was founded in Riyadh and developed a platform specialized in event discovery, ticket sales, and crowd management, capable of handling high demand for major international events.
The Paris edition also represents a strategic milestone in webook's European expansion, as it is the first event the platform organizes in France, including managing ticket sales for a seven-week event, in addition to the opening ceremony, which has sold out.

Mohammed Al-Nemer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports World Cup Foundation, said that the tournament was founded with a global vision, and that transforming the relationship with webook into an official partnership coincides with the event's move to Paris for the first time. He noted that the platform has proven its ability to manage high ticket demand across all previous editions of the tournament.
For his part, Nadeem Bakhsh, CEO of webook, said that the tournament launched from Riyadh with a global ambition, and that the platform's move to Paris represents an important milestone for Saudi technology and a key step in the European expansion journey. He affirmed that France is a strategic market for the entertainment and sports sectors, and the company aims to build long-term partnerships there.
Under the agreement, webook will manage ticket sales and audience access operations for the tournament, as well as implement joint marketing campaigns and initiatives to engage with fans throughout the event.
