The number of registered entertainment and amusement parks in Saudi Arabia increased by 18% in the second quarter of 2026, reaching 9,117 registrations, compared to 7,710 registrations in the same quarter of the previous year.

According to the business sector bulletin issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Riyadh led the regions with 3,932 registered establishments, followed by Makkah with 2,489, and the Eastern Province in third place with 1,002.

Sports Academies Registrations

The bulletin showed that the number of registered sports academies in Saudi Arabia increased by 29% in the second quarter of 2026, reaching 4,218 registrations, compared to 3,255 registrations in the same quarter of the previous year.

Riyadh region topped the regions with 1,909 registered academies, followed by Makkah with 1,093, then the Eastern Province with 497. In fourth place was Madinah region with 219 sports academy registrations, and in fifth place was Qassim region with 130.
