Heritage Pavilions Attract Visitors at Summer Tourism Festival in Arar
The activities of the Summer Tourism Festival in Arar witnessed a large turnout at the heritage pavilions organized by the Tourism Awareness Association in the Northern Border Region to showcase folk heritage and traditional industries.
Arar, Safar 09, 1448 AH corresponding to July 23, 2026, SPA – The heritage pavilions at the activities of the "Summer Tourism Festival," organized yesterday by the Tourism Awareness Association in the Northern Border Region in cooperation with several government and private entities at the popular market in Arar, attracted a number of visitors through displays embodying folk heritage and reflecting the cultural identity of the region. The pavilions featured displays of handicrafts, traditional industries, and heritage collectibles, along with the presentation of popular foods that introduced visitors to local dishes, amid notable interaction from families and visitors with activities that highlighted aspects of the cultural heritage of the Northern Border Region. The festival included pavilions for stargazing, falconry shows, training courses, a painting and photography corner, a free legal consultation corner, in addition to children's competitions, raffles, and prizes. The organization of these pavilions is part of the efforts of the Tourism Awareness Association to introduce cultural heritage, enhance tourism awareness, and highlight the heritage components that the Northern Border Region abounds with, contributing to stimulating tourism movement and supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the tourism sector and enhancing quality of life. // End // 11:47 PM 0055
