Laila Elwi to Okaz: 'Ibn Meen Feehom' Attracted Me with Its Humanitarian Idea and Unique Comedy
Egyptian artist Laila Elwi confirmed that her agreement to participate in the film 'Ibn Meen Feehom' came after she was convinced by its humanitarian idea, noting that the work presents comedy derived from character and situation development, which gave the script a different character and attracted her to take on the experience.
New Character
She explained, in exclusive statements to Okaz, that the character 'Magda' she portrays in the work was among the main reasons for her enthusiasm because it differs from the roles she is accustomed to, as she embodies a successful lawyer characterized by firmness and seriousness in her work, but at the same time possesses a cheerful spirit that emerges through numerous comedic situations witnessed in the events.
Renewed Collaboration
Regarding her collaboration with artist Bayoumi Fouad, she pointed out that 'Ibn Meen Feehom' represents the fifth work bringing them together, confirming that the understanding and harmony between them have reflected on the success of their previous works, expressing her hope for the continuation of this collaboration, especially since each work that brings them together offers a different experience.
Release Date and Creators
It is noted that the film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on July 9, bringing together a number of stars alongside Laila Elwi, including Bayoumi Fouad, Rania Youssef, Intisar, Iman El-Sayed, Wizo, Hala Fakher, and others. The work is written by Louay El-Sayed and directed by Hisham Fathy.
