The practical workshops dedicated to the professional category within the "Our Summer.. Art" program organized by the Saudi Association for Visual Arts have commenced, starting with the workshop "Basics of Drawing Horses with Pencils" presented by artist and trainer Fahd Al-Amar. The first day witnessed remarkable attendance and significant interaction from participants, and the workshop will continue for three training days.

The program is held as part of a community partnership aimed at expanding access to specialized artistic training, as all workshops and courses are offered free of charge to association members. This contributes to supporting visual artists and empowering them to develop their skills and refine their experiences under the guidance of a select group of specialized artists and trainers.

The workshop focused on the anatomical structure of horses on its first day, understanding the correct proportions, and methods of building shapes using pencils, alongside practical applications that provided participants with the opportunity for direct learning and experience exchange, in an atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and positive interaction.

The "Our Summer.. Art" program extends the association's role in developing the visual arts sector by offering quality training programs that contribute to discovering talents, raising the level of artistic practice, and enhancing visual culture, aligning with the Ministry of Culture's goals in developing the cultural sector, empowering creators, and increasing community participation in cultural activities.

The program also intersects with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in building a vibrant community, developing national capabilities, enhancing quality of life, and supporting the cultural economy by providing educational and training opportunities that contribute to the development of creative competencies and solidifying the status of the arts as one of the tributaries of cultural and national development.
