Saber Rebai Opens the 60th Edition of the Carthage International Festival
(CNN)-- Tunisian artist Saber Rebai opens the 60th edition of the Carthage International Festival on Thursday with a musical show titled "Under the Jasmine".
The festival's official social media accounts published photos and videos of Saber's preparations for the show, which combines "visual renewal and Tunisian identity."
Saber is joined in the opening show of the Carthage International Festival by a selection of Tunisian artists, including Lotfi Bouchnak and Buthayna Nabli.

The activities of the 60th edition of the Carthage International Festival will extend until August 19, where Lebanese singer Majida El Roumi will perform the closing concert.
This year's musical program includes concerts by artists: Cheb Khaled, Angélique Kidjo, Sami Yusuf, Ryan, Rondo Fernandez, Mayada El Hennawy and Mohamed Kheiry, Tamer Ashour, and Elissa, who returns to the Carthage amphitheater after an absence of 17 years.
In addition to concerts by Tunisian artists: Marwan El Jebali known as "Nordo", Yosra Mahnouch, Nabiha Kraouli, and Amina Fakhet.
The Tunisian Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Chadi El Gherafi, will present an evening titled "Symphonies 60: Sixty Years of Tunisian Music" as part of the festival's events.
