The classification is based on the evaluation of an international specialized committee according to specific criteria, as 'Discover Asir' was selected for its comprehensive content that showcases the experiences of the Asir region in an organized and easy-to-navigate manner, supported by rich visual content, and highlighting Asiri cuisine within various experiences that can be viewed and booked via the Asiri cuisine page on the 'Discover Asir' website https://discoveraseer.com/cuisine, reflecting its connection to the local environment and culture. 'Discover Asir' is the only Saudi Arabic website in the list, which includes sites from France, Spain, Ecuador, and several European and international countries, reflecting its competitive position at the international level. It is worth noting that 'Discover Asir' is the official tourism platform of the Asir region under the Authority for the Development of the Region, launched in 2024 in conjunction with the launch of the region's tourism identity, providing visitors with comprehensive information about destinations and landmarks, the ability to book tourism experiences and events, as well as dedicated pages for restaurants and hotels, an interactive map of the region, a service to communicate with tourist guides, and other services that enrich the visitor experience.
