The Executive Committee of the Summer Al-Baha 2026 festival held its second meeting, confirming 100% readiness to welcome over 2.5 million visitors. They reviewed over 60 events and the new visual identity and tourism guide.
Al-Baha, Muharram 13, 1448 AH corresponding to June 28, 2026, SPA -- The Executive Committee of the Summer Al-Baha 2026 Festival and Events held its second meeting today, chaired by the Secretary of Al-Baha Region and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Sawat, with the participation of representatives from government, security, and service agencies, associations, and relevant entities. During the meeting, the committee reviewed season indicators, updates on the implementation of decisions from the first meeting, and examined the visual identity of Summer Al-Baha 2026 and the Al-Baha Tourism Guide, both launched by the Emir of the region. It also discussed more than 60 high-quality events targeting the reception of over 2.5 million visitors during the Summer Al-Baha 2026 season, as well as the formation of sub-committees in the region's governorates, completion of event inventory, and follow-up on organizational and executive aspects to enhance role integration among participating entities and ensure the readiness of sites and events to welcome visitors throughout the season. The committee confirmed the completion of readiness in Al-Baha city and targeted governorates for summer events at 100%, after completing all field, service, and organizational preparations according to approved plans. Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Sawat, Secretary of Al-Baha Region, explained that the achieved readiness is due to the directives of the Emir of Al-Baha Region and the continuous follow-up of his Deputy, who give great attention to raising readiness levels and service integration, contributing to a summer season befitting the tourist status of Al-Baha region. He pointed out that government, security, and service agencies, along with partners, have completed their preparations according to integrated executive plans, confirming the readiness of licensed accommodation facilities to receive visitors, in addition to introducing new and innovative accommodation options that contribute to diversifying the tourism product and meeting expected demand during the season.
