The Al-Baha Municipality, represented by health and market inspection efforts, revealed the implementation of 19,430 field inspection visits during the second quarter of this year as part of its ongoing work to enhance compliance with health and municipal requirements and to maintain food safety and public health. The municipality explained that the inspection tours resulted in detecting 2,795 violations and issuing 1,143 warnings to violating establishments, in addition to receiving and processing 254 reports through approved reporting channels. Statistics showed that the inspection teams carried out confiscation and destruction of more than 295 kilograms of unusable or non-compliant materials, as well as apprehending 204 itinerant vendors violating regulations and instructions. The Al-Baha Municipality affirmed the continuation of its intensive inspection tours on commercial and food establishments and markets, contributing to raising the level of compliance and improving the quality of services provided, in line with the goals of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in enhancing public health and consumer safety.
