Ministry of Health: 'Post-World Cup Depression' Does Not Mean Clinical Depression
The Ministry of Health warned today, Monday, against 'post-World Cup depression'.
The Ministry added, via platform (X), that 'post-World Cup depression is (a condition) or a temporary feeling that some fans may experience after the tournament ends'.
The Ministry continued, that 'this occurs due to the cessation of excitement or change in the usual daily routine, and it does not mean suffering from clinical depression, but rather a fleeting feeling that varies from person to person'.
After every tournament, some players and fans experience a strong feeling of emptiness and sadness, in addition to boredom and laziness, and although it is not considered a case of depression in the medical sense of the word, some describe it as depression, according to BBC.
