Fakeeh Healthcare Group has completed the acquisition of Dr. Mohammed bin Rashed Fakeeh and Partners Company, owner of Dr. Mohammed Fakeeh Hospital located east of Riyadh on King Abdullah Road, in a strategic step that strengthens the group's presence in the capital and expands its healthcare network in the Kingdom.

This acquisition is an extension of the growth and expansion strategy adopted by the group, which has seen in recent years the opening of Dr. Suleiman Fakeeh Hospital in Riyadh and Dr. Suleiman Fakeeh Hospital in Madinah, along with the continued development of medical services and the achievement of numerous qualitative accomplishments at Dr. Suleiman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah. Dr. Mohammed Fakeeh Hospital adds to the group's network an integrated healthcare facility with a capacity of approximately 350 beds, more than 12 operating rooms, in addition to an independent outpatient building housing 192 clinics across various medical specialties, as well as surgery, intensive care, emergency, a specialized center for obstetrics and gynecology, and a center for orthopedic surgery.

With the completion of this acquisition, the total bed capacity of Fakeeh Healthcare Group hospitals across the Kingdom has increased to 1,185 beds, while the group's bed capacity in Riyadh has risen to approximately 535 beds, enhancing its ability to meet the growing demand for healthcare services in the capital and expanding the scope of its integrated medical services.

The hospital also has an extensive network of insurance coverage, which enhances the group's access to a larger segment of beneficiaries and broadens the scope of its services to include diverse patient groups, supporting its strategy of providing advanced, high-quality healthcare services to all members of society.

On this occasion, Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, Chairman of Fakeeh Healthcare Group, said: "This acquisition represents a new strategic milestone in the group's growth journey and reflects our commitment to continuing investment in the development of the Kingdom's healthcare system. We look forward to leveraging the outstanding capabilities of Dr. Mohammed Fakeeh Hospital to enhance the integration of our services, expand our reach to patients, and provide comprehensive healthcare according to the highest quality standards, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030."

The integration of the hospital into the Fakeeh Healthcare Group system is expected to contribute to operational synergy among its facilities, improve service efficiency, and enhance the utilization of medical expertise and modern technologies, positively impacting the quality of healthcare and patient experience.

This acquisition reflects Fakeeh Healthcare Group's commitment to continuing investment in the development of the Kingdom's health sector by expanding the scope of its services, increasing its operational capacity, and enhancing the healthcare system it provides, in line with the growing demand for health services and contributing to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of health services, increase private sector participation, and enhance the patient experience.
