Jeddah Health Cluster 2, through King Abdullah Medical Complex, launched the 'Care Link' project as a smart and unified coordination office linking departments concerned with health services, aiming to expedite procedures and improve service quality, thereby enhancing care integration and tracking the patient journey from request to closure, in line with the targets of the Saudi healthcare model and Vision 2030.
The project, which is one of the smart projects, was inaugurated by the CEO of Jeddah Health Cluster 2, Dr. Shadi Al-Khayyat, in the presence of the Director of Hospital Management, Dr. Essam Qandiyah, and the General Supervisor of King Abdullah Medical Complex and the Maternity and Children's Specialist Hospital, Dr. Samer Usrah. 'Care Link' comes within the framework of King Abdullah Medical Complex's efforts to develop the patient journey and transform it from scattered services into an integrated and easily accessible health experience, based on effective coordination, continuous support, and meticulous follow-up at all stages of service delivery, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and enabling the monitoring of improvement opportunities according to best practices.
The project, which carries the slogan 'With You Step by Step', offers an integrated package of services including: coordination of medical transport requests, follow-up of referrals and appointments, home care services, beneficiary support, as well as tracking the service journey from receipt of the request to its closure, ensuring continuity of care and improving communication channels with patients.
