Second Jeddah Health Cluster Launches "Care Link" Project for Integration of Health Services
The CEO of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster, Dr. Shadi Al-Khayyat, launched the "Care Link" project in the presence of the Director of Hospital Administration, Dr. Essam Qandiyah, and the General Supervisor of King Abdullah Medical Complex and the Maternity and Children's Specialty Hospital, Dr. Samer Asara. The project is one of the smart initiatives aimed at improving the beneficiary experience and enhancing the efficiency of coordination among health services.
The project is based on establishing a unified smart coordination office that connects various relevant departments, contributing to accelerating procedures, improving service quality, and providing more integrated healthcare.
"Care Link" comes as part of King Abdullah Medical Complex's efforts to develop the patient journey and transform it from fragmented services into an integrated and accessible health experience, based on effective coordination, continuous support, and precise follow-up at all stages of service delivery, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and enabling the identification of improvement opportunities in line with best practices.
The project offers an integrated package of services including: coordination of medical transport requests, follow-up on referrals and appointments, home care services, beneficiary support, as well as tracking the service journey from request receipt to closure, ensuring continuity of care and improving communication channels with patients.
The project carries the slogan "With You Step by Step," affirming King Abdullah Medical Complex's commitment to providing a patient-centered health experience, in line with the goals of the Saudi healthcare model stemming from the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and aiming to raise beneficiary satisfaction and achieve the strategic objectives of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster.
