The Global Investment Summit, scheduled to take place in the French capital Paris on September 1 and 2, 2026, will showcase the healthcare and life sciences sector as part of its investment agenda, through a dedicated session titled 'Health Investment Contracts: Healthcare and Life Sciences as an Investment Priority.'

The session will focus on growth opportunities in healthcare services, biotechnology, and medical innovation, as well as the role of capital in developing this vital sector, amid rising demand for more efficient care models and expanding investments in advanced medical solutions, biomedical research, and digital health.

Summit data reveals that total targeted domestic investment in healthcare and life sciences in the Gulf region will rise from $40.5 billion in 2023 to $69.2 billion by 2030, reflecting expanding opportunities related to quality of life, innovation, and development of healthcare services.

The same data indicates expected European investment flows to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries worth $28.59 billion, along with targets including the development of 15 joint projects and the establishment of 8 strategic partnerships within the first year.

The Global Investment Summit in Paris will be held under an international program bringing together over 2,000 participants and 100 speakers, across 10 main sessions, 16 workshops, and more than 40 bilateral meetings, in a pathway that connects capital to vital sectors and opens wider horizons for partnership and growth in healthcare and life sciences.
