The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has launched free first aid courses as part of the 'Train Here and Be a Responder' initiative, to be held from July 21 to 23, 2026 at the Bani Dhabyan Training Center in the Bani Dhabyan Ambulance Headquarters. The aim is to enhance first aid culture and raise community readiness to handle emergencies before ambulance teams arrive.

The course includes training participants in four basic skills: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), bleeding control and direct pressure, and choking first aid, through an accredited training program provided by the Authority.

The Authority clarified that each course lasts two hours and is held in three daily sessions. After completing the program, participants receive a certificate accredited by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.

The Authority invited those wishing to join the initiative to register electronically via the 'Muta'aheb' platform and choose a suitable date, emphasizing that acquiring first aid skills can help save lives, based on the initiative's slogan: 'A simple skill today... could save a life tomorrow.'
