"Sharjah Planning"/New Administrative Divisions for "Al Ruwaisat" and "Al Sayouh" Suburbs

Sharjah, November 4 / WAM / In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Department of Town Planning and Survey in the Emirate of Sharjah announced new names and administrative divisions for the suburbs of Al Sayouh and Al Ruwaisat, which included changing the names of some areas in the former suburbs of "Juwaiza' and Al Tay" and the suburb of Al Sayouh, and re-dividing the area administratively to include only two suburbs: Al Sayouh and Al Ruwaisat.
According to the new administrative division, Al Ruwaisat suburb includes the areas of "Rawdat Al Sidr, Rawdat Al Qurt, Al Waha, Al Matraq, Al Munhaz, Al Sahma, Al Maliha, and Udhaib."
Al Ruwaisat suburb is bordered to the north by the industrial area of Al Sajaa, to the south by Al Sayouh suburb, and to the west by Emirates Transit Road.
As for Al Sayouh suburb, it includes the areas of "Al Sayouh from Area 1 to Area 16 / Area of Talal, Area of Al Ruqaybah, Area of Al Tay East, and Area of Al Tay West." Al Sayouh suburb is located south of Al Ruwaisat suburb, bordered to the south by Maleha Road and to the west by Emirates Transit Road.
