Al-Bir Association in Al-Muwaih Distributes 6,600 kg of Sacrificial Meat to 466 Families
The Al-Bir Charitable Association in Al-Muwaih Governorate distributed 330 cartons of sacrificial meat, totaling 6,600 kg with an estimated value of 594,000 SAR, benefiting 466 beneficiaries from the neediest families registered with the association. This was supported by the Saudi Arabia Project for Utilizing Sacrificial Animals.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Suhail bin Talab Al-Otaibi, explained that this initiative is an extension of the fruitful cooperation between the association and the project, stressing the association's keenness to deliver meat to its beneficiaries with ease and speed. He noted that the distribution process lasted more than two days due to the volume of quantities received, and was carried out according to an organizational plan targeting the neediest families in the governorate.
For his part, the Executive Director of the association, Bandar bin Muharib Al-Otaibi, confirmed that this support reflects the humanitarian impact of the project and its role in enhancing social solidarity, appreciating the efforts of those in charge of enabling charitable associations to fulfill their mission and reach beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
Al-Otaibi also indicated that the association continues to implement its development and relief programs, having distributed last month 259 food baskets and 518 cartons of dates to the neediest families with support from the Hessa Al-Radi Endowments, in addition to paying electricity bills for a number of beneficiary families, and supporting the home renovation program with an amount of 38,380 SAR during the same month.
He also revealed that the association signed a cooperation agreement with the 'Tarmeem' Association for Development to renovate 10 houses in Al-Muwaih Governorate, as part of enhancing development partnerships aimed at providing a safe and stable housing environment for beneficiary families and improving their quality of life.
