The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued several royal orders today (Saturday), including the dismissal of a number of officials from their positions and the appointment of others in their place.

Al-Khuraif appointed as Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers

The royal orders included the dismissal of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khuraif from his post, and the appointment of Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in addition to his continued role as Minister of Energy, and also the appointment of Al-Khuraif as Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers.

According to the orders, Eng. Ahmed Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, is relieved from his post, and Bandar Al-Khuraif, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, is assigned to act as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries in addition to his duties.

Also, Shala'an bin Rajih bin Abdullah bin Shala'an, Deputy Public Prosecutor, is relieved from his post and appointed as Advisor at the Royal Court with the rank of Excellent.

According to the orders, Ihssan bin Abbas bin Hamza Baqafih is appointed as Mayor of Jeddah Governorate with the rank of Excellent, and Mohammed bin Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Mutlaq is appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice with the rank of Excellent.

Also, Talal bin Fouad bin Ahmed Al-Hamoud is appointed as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs with the rank of Excellent, and Abdul Ilah bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Duheim is appointed as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Executive Affairs with the rank of Excellent.
